It’s no secret to anyone that I am addicted to Sephora! I’m probably on the website several times a week looking for new products, reading reviews, and just basking in the beauty of it all. Needless to say, I probably buy more products than I need to (or even should), but I thought that since I’m testing them anyway, I should share what I think about them with you so you know what to spend your money on and what to steer away from! Scroll down to see all the products I’ve bought recently!
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer in Fu$$y – I was perusing through the Fenty section and saw this GORGEOUS lip gloss that I just had to have! It’s a beautiful natural pink shade, so it enhances your lip color, and gives you an amazing shine.
Tarte SEA Surfer Curl Mascara – I love testing out new mascaras, but I’m always nervous to get one that ends up under my eyes halfway through the day. This one totally blew me away – it doesn’t transfer at all and makes my lashes look so long! It’s now one of my top picks!
Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser – Does anyone else have the problem where they can’t use the same cleanser for a long period of time because their skin gets too used to it?? I was ready to get a new cleanser when one of my favorite brands, Summer Fridays, released this as their newest product! I haven’t used a gel cleanser before, but so far I’m really loving it and the bottle is huge! It was the same price I paid for a Tatcha cleanser that came in a significantly smaller bottle. (Full review to come)
OLEHENRIKSEN C-Rush Vitamin C Gel – I saw someone raving about this moisturizer on Instagram, and I was in the market for a new one anyone, so I picked this up and I’ve been absolutely obsessed with it from the get-go! It smells just like a creamsicle and completely hydrates your skin. I have combo skin, so everywhere except my t-zone is very dry and within a week my skin has done a total 360! Love, love, love this!
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask – If there’s one product in this haul that you buy, I HIGHLY recommend this mask! Oh my gosh it is an amazing skin resurfacing treatment and fixes any texture problems you have. It smells like pumpkin pie, and comes in a large bottle so it will last a very long time!
Natasha Denona Chroma Crystal Top Coat – I haven’t purchased anything from this brand before, but her eyeshadow pots caught my eye in the store. Being the shimmery eye look lover that I am, I scooped one up to try and was immediately obsessed! I got the color ‘bronze’, but next time will get the ‘nude’ color next time. It will probably complement my eye color and skin tone better than the bronze, but it is still so beautiful!
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch – I bought the ‘Lavendar’ shade initially to use to set my under eye makeup to brighten it up, and it worked beautifully! The powder is soft, but sheer enough to blend perfectly, and doesn’t give a flashback in photos. I started using a small amount of it to set the rest of my face as well and can see a noticeable difference in the brightness when I do.
Farsali Rose Gold 24K Skin Mist – Bought this off of a recommendation from a blogger I follow. It’s a nice refreshing mist, but I haven’t found that it gives me much of an additional glow, at least enough to warrant the price tag. I also don’t like the smell at all, so I’ll be sticking with other sprays from now on.
Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Serum – I’ve been wanting to try Farmacy for a while and snagged this product when I saw that it included honey. I don’t know why, but I’m obsessed with products that use honey! I will warn you that it will sting a bit when you first start (nothing too bad), but eventually that will stop after using it a few times.
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Mattifying Primer – Like I mentioned before, I have combo skin, so my t-zone is very oily, but the rest of my face is dry, so finding primers that work has been a real struggle. Matte primer after matte primer I’ve been let down and left with a shiny face. I didn’t think anything would be different with this product, but am always up to try a new product. Guys, this is a great primer! While it doesn’t completely prevent my skin from getting oily throughout the day, it has done a really good job of keeping it at bay longer and not letting as much shine come through. It also helps my makeup stay put, so it doesn’t start to separate as the day goes on. For now, this is my go-to primer.
So there are the 10 products I’ve purchased recently from Sephora. I’ll try to do these posts every month to let you know which products I think are worth your money and which ones aren’t!
